Nexxus Humectress Hydrating Treatment Deep Conditioner
The Nexxus shampoo and conditioner is supposed to replenish and protect, leaving hair looking and feeling healthy. I decided to give it a try since my hair has been in dire need of moisture. After getting a few uses out of each sample, I thought I should share my opinion with you.
Baby it's COLD outside! It's a cold, rainy fall day and I'm trying to stay warm. The heat's turned up and I'm snug in a comfy sweater sipping on some hot vanilla caramel tea. Now is the perfect time for me to do the Sweater Weather Tag! There are several different versions of this, but I got my questions from Kendra's blog Beauty by Kendra C.
After all of the rave reviews from the UK, I had to get my hands on a couple of Rimmel Show Off lip lacquers (also known as Apocalips) once they were released in the US. I've been using these lacquers for a couple months and I'm ready to share my thoughts.
Today, or rather tonight, I'm wearing a classic red lip paired with a simple eye look. I think this is a timeless look that's especially great for all the holiday festivities to come. Keep reading for all the details.
I stopped at Walgreens and Rite Aid yesterday to take advantage of some of their current sales. Here's some, but not all, of what I purchased. About half of the beauty items I purchased are for gifts, so I won't be showing those.
I've put together a Holiday Gift Guide with items that are $50 or less. While this is a For Her gift guide, there are a few unisex gifts mixed in. Keep reading to find out all the details on the products above and to see additional picks, ideas, tips, and (of course) pictures.
Almost a year to the day, I did my very first Outfit Of The Day post (see here). I was wearing a pair of oxblood/burgundy pants that I showed in my Oxblood color trend post. As a nod to that OOTD, I thought I'd wear the same pants in today's OOTD. Think of it as a modified Flashback Friday.
I was tagged by Amelie from All Things Glitter and Beauty to do the Would You Rather Tag: Beauty Edition. I loved reading her answers to the tag (seen here); I just couldn't wait to answer them myself. There's some pretty tough choices to be made, so lets get to the questions!
I mentioned in my October Favorites that I'm currently loving bold lip shades. However, chapped lip season has officially started for me, and I'm in no condition to pull of a bold lip until I mix up some of my favorite DIY Lip Scurb. In the meantime, I'm wearing a beautiful creamy lipstick in a subtle, natural shade to pair with with a daytime smokey eye for some added oomph. Read more to see what I used and find out how I created my eye look.
There's nothing quite like freshly painted nails. It's guaranteed to put a smile on my face and instantly make me feel better. New polish is just what I needed after spending the past few days, sick in bed, peeling off my polish from last weeks NOTD. Is anyone else guilty of being a polish peeler? I opted for a fresh, light pink polish. It's not one of the usual shade for fall, but there's something refreshing about a light polish after wearing so many dark shades. Anyone else agree?
I'm going to level with you-- I didn't have a post planned for today; I've been sick in bed since Thursday. I rarely have posts scheduled in advanced or ready to go for situations like this, but I'm going to try to start planning ahead. That's where you, my lovely readers/followers, come in...
I'm sad to say, October is over. It's time to recap some of my favorites of the month before falling in love with new products in November.
As a reminder, I only mention the products (that I'm loving) that I haven't mentioned in previous Monthly Favorites. If you'd like to see the products I still love, check out my past Monthly Favorites. Now, on to October Favorites!
